Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) describes business activities that are not permitted on NexusPay. It supplements the Terms of Service. Operating a prohibited business on the platform is grounds for immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending settlements as permitted by law.

1. Categorically prohibited

  • Unlawful gambling, betting, or lotteries operating outside PAGCOR licensing.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other regulated weapons.
  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
  • Counterfeit goods, intellectual-property infringing goods, or pirated digital content.
  • Adult content involving minors or non-consenting adults.
  • Human trafficking, smuggling, or any business that violates the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
  • Terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or transactions with sanctioned persons.
  • Unlicensed financial services: lending, money-changing, virtual-asset services without BSP registration.
  • Multi-level marketing schemes operating as Ponzi or pyramid structures.
  • Sale of stolen goods, hacked accounts, or compromised credentials.
  • Wildlife and endangered species trafficking.

2. Restricted — require additional review

  • Crowdfunding and donations.
  • High-value collectibles (gold, jewelry, antiques).
  • Travel agencies and ticket resellers.
  • Adult content (legal, consenting adults) — additional KYC required.
  • Pharmaceuticals — must hold FDA Philippines license.

3. Technical use

  • No abuse of our APIs (excessive polling, brute force, denial-of-service).
  • No reverse engineering or attempts to bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • No use of test API keys for production traffic, or vice versa.
